Ontario PNP
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is one of the most popular provincial immigration pathways, helping skilled workers, graduates, and in-demand professionals become permanent residents of Ontario. As Canada’s largest and most diverse province, Ontario relies on this program to attract talent that supports its growing labour market and economic needs.
Through the OINP, eligible applicants can be nominated by the province based on their skills, education, work experience, and ability to succeed in Ontario. The program includes employer-driven streams for foreign workers and international students, Express Entry–aligned streams like Human Capital Priorities, Skilled Trades, and French-Speaking Skilled Worker, as well as graduate-focused options for master’s and PhD degree holders.
While some streams require a permanent, full-time job offer from an Ontario employer, others—such as the master’s and PhD Graduate streams—do not, making the program accessible to a wide range of applicants. Once nominated, candidates can apply for permanent residence through IRCC.
Ontario charges a non-refundable fee of $1,500 to process applications.
